Founded by professor charles xavier, their goal is to establish peace between humans and mutants and also to protect the public from those mutants who misuse their powers in harmful and dangerous ways. Without being a diehard fan of the franchise, i have watched most of the episodes in all three cartoon adaptations, the movie versions, some scattered comic stories, as well as the other two marvel anime.
